Our practice traces its roots back to 1954 in Egg Harbor City when Joseph “Joe” Kaufman began preparing tax returns on the front porch of his home. Realizing that he needed more space than his front porch could provide, Joe found a new home for his flourishing practice at a prominent location in the center of Egg Harbor City on Philadelphia Avenue. Over the years, Joe’s practice continued to grow, adding both partners and clients. A merger in 2012, saw the Firm’s footprint expand to include an office in Linwood.

August 2020 brought a new vision and identity to the firm when Douglas Moini, CPA purchased the well-respected practice. The change in ownership ushered in a new name, Wagner Shields & Moini LLP, and the branding, WSM. Doug earned his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University and has a Masters of Accountancy in Taxation from Rutgers University. He has over 25 years of experience in public accounting servicing clients ranging from multinational corporations to small local business owners. Doug is licensed in New Jersey, New York, Nevada and Florida.
